2. Is Medicare or MediCal Accepted?

a. Typically no, most state or government based policies will require you to contact the insurance carrier directly to be placed in a long term facility. We usually recommend people who need long term rehab placement or mental health care have a private or commercial PPO or HMO policy to maximize the level of coverage they will have. Individuals who must use government insurance we will provide contact information to a federal call center that has listings of those type of government programs.

3. How does financing work?

a. Typically, after contacting our rehab placement team, a drug rehab treatment expert evaluates to determine the best fit for treatment that is within your budget or covered by insurance. If you require financing for out of pocket costs, copayments, or private pay treatment we DO work with a financing company and can provide you the application.

b. Typically, your credit and income levels determine your financial aid qualifications. Payments can range from 2%-3% of the amount borrowed. To see if you qualify for financing give us a call.  Often, a family member will apply for the financial aid to assist their loved one get approved for treatment.

4. Do you have to be currently using drugs to be qualified for a long term rehab placement?

a. Typically insurance companies require a person to be in need of a detox or high level of care to use their insurance to cover a long term rehab placement. However, if you are paying out of pocket, most facilities will work with you. Besides, we do have programs available that can bill insurance through mental health benefits for those who have been sober a while but still symptomatic.
